Artist’s Statement
"My ongoing Tree series seeks to present an aesthetic that transcends worldly perceptions, integrating elements of religion, philosophy, ancient artifacts, and traditional Chinese culture. Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s surreal interpretations of nature and life—particularly her tree series—I aim to reveal a unique perspective on the beauty of nature and evoke an atmosphere of detachment.
In today’s noisy, materialistic society, people are often bound by the relentless pace of life and the pursuit of material wealth, neglecting the tranquility and beauty within their hearts. Through my works, I hope to awaken a deep appreciation for beauty and mindfulness, encouraging viewers to slow down and savor the pure essence of life and inner peace.
My creations are not merely tributes to nature’s beauty but also symbols of hope for a brighter future and the pursuit of ideals. They reflect my profound thoughts on the true value of life and serve as a call from deep within. By using the tree as a central motif, I explore the connections between humanity, nature, and the universe, as well as the timeless quest for eternal truths.
